Google Ad Manager announces audio advertising

Google Ad Manager have announced it will now offer audio-based advertising, looking to be available to all podcasts in the near future.⁠

Their new audio features, currently in beta, “allow publishers to develop a true cross-format monetization strategy across their audio, video, and display content.”⁠

This paves the way for inserting ads via Google into podcasts, of which Spotify and TuneIn are using already.⁠
